Your Week schedule
During your stay, you’ll be accommodated in our unique beach house, located directly on the dune and just a 2-minute walk from the surf spot.
Each morning, enjoy a fresh breakfast buffet featuring local and organic products whenever possible, including fresh bread, pastries, fruit, coffee, tea, and options adapted to our guests’ preferences and dietary needs.
Throughout the week, you’ll benefit from 10 hours of surf coaching with Bernardo in small groups of up to 8 participants. Lessons take place over 5 days (2 hours per day), allowing plenty of time to improve your surfing while enjoying everything the area has to offer.
The surf lessons take place at Saint Girons Plage, only a few minutes’ walk from the Surf House. Lesson times are scheduled according to the tides and adapted to the weather and ocean conditions to ensure the best possible surfing experience.
As a certified surf coach with years of experience, Bernardo will tailor each session to your level and goals, whether you’re a complete beginner, an intermediate surfer, or looking to refine advanced techniques. Depending on conditions, additional activities such as surf theory sessions, video analysis, skateboarding, beach games or fishing may also be offered.
Outside of surf lessons, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy the beach, explore the surrounding pine forests, discover the local villages, relax at the Surf House, or simply embrace the laid-back surf lifestyle.
Best of all, you can continue free surfing and use the surf equipment outside lesson hours whenever conditions allow.

What is included or not ?
Included
Local breakfast
A fresh breakfast buffet is included in your package and prepared with a focus on local, seasonal and organic products whenever possible. Enjoy freshly baked bread, traditional French pastries such as croissants and chocolatines, coffee, tea, fruit juice, yogurt, butter, homemade jams, fresh fruit, local charcuterie, and other delicious options to start your day before heading to the waves. We are also happy to adapt to our guests’ dietary preferences and needs whenever possible.

Flight and transportation
Transfers
For guests arriving by train, we offer a transfer service from Dax train station for €60 per person (subject to availability).
We do not provide transfers from Bordeaux Airport. However, it is easy to reach Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station from the airport using the regular shuttle service. From there, direct trains to Dax take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Please contact us before your arrival if you would like to arrange a transfer from Dax.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the guest.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before arrival.
We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Saint Girons Surf House cannot be held responsible for flight delays, flight cancellations, missed connections, travel disruptions, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
